NATURAL RESOURCES WALES TREE PLANTING AND MAINTENANCE SCHEME

Lawson Civil Engineering and Utilities Ltd is proud to have joined forces with Natural Resources Wales on an environmental project at Abergele, Conwy.

NRW is the largest Welsh Government Sponsored Body with a budget of £180million. Formed in April 2013, it has largely taken over the function of the Countryside Council for Wales, Forestry Commission Wales and the Environment Agency in Wales, as well as certain Welsh Government functions.

Commissioned by National Resources Wales, we planted Common Maples, Downy Birches, Common Oaks and White Willow trees along the banks of the River Gele in March 2015. Furthermore, we have been tasked with creating a bespoke maintenance programme spanning the next two years  – ensuring that this newest little piece of natural Wales is given the best start in life.
