Meet the Lawson Family
FRANK LAWSON Snr
Chief Executive Officer
Frank Snr was brought up with strong morals, principles and values. Along with his wife, Angeline, he passed these on to his children who play an integral part in the family business and to his wider family – his workforce. These are the foundations of who we are today.
A former contracts manager, Frank set up Lawson Civil Engineering and Utilities Ltd in May 2000 having worked for more than 20 years in the business. Since then, the company has grown into a pioneer in its field, employing a dedicated and highly qualified workforce, working across both the private and public sectors.
ANGELINE LAWSON B.A. JP
Angeline spent most of her working life in the Health & Social Care field, specialising in Mental Health and was promoted to the position of Director of Care.
In 2006, she departed from this service and joined the family Civil Engineering business where she had to learn about the nature, power and the limitations of the construction business and its procedures. Using her management skills her focus is now to drive the business forward and to enhance and develop the business to continue its growth and performance.
AMANDA LAWSON-STONER CMIOSH
Strategic Director and Senior SHEQ Manager
Amanda joined the board of directors in August of 2013 having spent five years working her way through the ranks. She is now our Senior Health and Safety Manager.
Her remit also includes responsibility for all of the company’s ISO standards and all other standards and awards and she was instrumental in leading the company towards its IIP Gold accreditation. Amanda also has responsibility for LCEU’s extensive staff training programmes.
FRANK LAWSON Jnr
As a youngster, Frank Jnr spent his summer and Easter holidays with his father - learning his trade from an early age.At the age of 16, he became LCEU’s first full time employee.
Having immersed himself in all aspects of the business, he has a knowledge and understanding rivalled only by his father. As Operational Director, Frank Jnr deals directly with the client ensuring we always go the extra mile.
Director and Lead Jetting Scheduler
The youngest member of our board of directors joined the company in 2013. Grace currently leads our Enviro Scheduling team. Her invaluable experience means that, in an emergency, you’re never further than a telephone call away from help.
Grace also schedules all planned works for our Enviro teams and will be able to advise you on all Enviro queries.
Paul has worked as a Lawson operative both in the Civil Engineering and Utilities sector. He was promoted to Stores Manager in 2014 and has since established effective working partnerships with both clients and suppliers.
His commitment to keeping the workforce fully equipped enables Lawsons to deliver in terms of time and money guaranteeing the customer always gets the best deal.
Gary joined the company in 2012 as an operative progressing to Civils Scheduler in 2014. Following a recent management reshuffle, he now heads our accounts department.
Although relatively new to this industry, Gary undertook an extensive training programme and now uses his knowledge for the benefit of customers and the company.
HR & Customer Service
Victoria joined the company in November 2013 charged with looking after the interests of both our customers and employees. As our Customer Services officer, Victoria is always able to advise or to connect customers with one of our teams of experts.
With a workforce of over 30 people she is also charged with responsibility for managing our human resources department.

Lead Civils Scheduler & Finance Control
Gwawr joined the company in 2014 to head up the creation of our website.
With a background in television and newspapers, the Civil Engineering and Utilities industry was new to her but since her appointment she has carved a niché for herself scrutinising our corporate works and has recently been promoted to the position of Lead Civils Scheduler.
